October Saturday's | 10-29-2017

Today my friends and I took a trip to our local farmers market and had such a fun time exploring and getting all the free samples! Haha. The food was so amazing. We just explored a little bit of downtown and headed home when it started to rain. It was such an amazing Saturday and I was honestly just so content. I was chatting with my friends and was honestly just in awe of how amazing our God is! So many things have changed in the last few months but I wouldn't want it any other way. I am so amazed at how comforting it is when you let go and let God take control. He is so good and has amazing plans for each and every one of you! I hope you all had an amazing Saturday, and I can't wait to see what my Sunday holds, it is definitely my favorite day of the week!

Late night thoughts...

Every day brings new struggles, but every day also brings new beginnings. Going off to college and starting a new life miles away from my home has certainly been a struggle but it has also brought many blessings. During my short few weeks at college I have been surrounded by so many amazing God fearing girls, and looking back on the past six months I see what a rollercoaster it has been for me, and I see God’s hand in all of it. While I don’t always understand the reasons for it, I know for certain He does. Without the struggles and heartbreak that I have dealt with these past view months, I would not have ended up where I am today, and I would not have met some of my very best friends if it were not for the things that I went through these past few months. I am absolutely in love with my Christ centered University. Being away makes me miss it more, due to the hurricane we were evacuated from our campus and sent home, but I cannot wait to go back. In the past couple of weeks, I have gotten so many amazing opportunities to serve my community and serve my savior; I can’t wait to continue. This was kind of a random post, but it is just some thoughts that I have wanted to share. Hope everyone stays safe and has a blessed day.

Two Piece Floral + College

Hey y'all, it has been a hot minute since I've hopped on here. I've been so busy all summer working, but I am not complaining at all because I absolutely love what I do. If you don't know, I work at my local YMCA in the Kid Zone taking care of kids, I am also a cheer coach and volunteer volleyball coach. I'm away at college now so I won't be going back to work until Thanksgiving, and I miss all my kids so much.
I decided super last minute that I wanted to go away for college so here I am in West Palm Beach! I am absolutely loving it and wouldn't want anything to be different, I have seven other roommates and we literally do everything together and it is such a blessing! I can not wait to continue this college experience and I am definitely going to keep y'all informed!

Have a blessed day! - Paige

Learning from heartbreak...

Well, guys, lots of stuff has changed in my life. So let me update you on the biggest one, my boyfriend broke up with me. There are lots of things I have learned from this and lots of things I am still very confused about. I am definitely not going to go into any details but just know it has been tough. This experience though has truly opened my eyes and encouraged my relationship further in Christ. I have definitely learned that when times get tough, you must lean on Him for strength.
This is something that I recently read in my devotional, and I just wanted to share it will everyone. Do not resist or run from the difficulties in your life. These problems are not random mistakes; they are hand-tailored blessings designed for your benefit and growth. Embrace all the circumstances that God has allowed in your life, and trust him to bring the good out of them. View problems as opportunities to rely fully on him. Thank God for the difficulties in your life since they provided protection from the idolatry of self-reliance."
Through this experience, I am seeing that God has bigger plans for me, bigger than I could have every imagined, and for that, I am extremely grateful. There have been a few songs that I have relied on during this experience so keep your eye out on the next by subscribing to find out what they are!

xoxo, Paige
